On Oct 7th and 8th, Mr Lu Bo, Managing Director of World Future Foundation (WFF), held meetings to evaluate the PhD Prize in Environmental and Sustainability Research with each of NUS and NTU.

Manager Clara LIM, Ms Sheila PHANG from NUS and Professor Lye Sun Eoh, Director Sim Yoke Hwee, and Director Danny Teo Ho Cheng from NTU each attended the meetings. Mr Lu Bo discussed details of the start-up time, selection process, review material, payment methods, the donor’s participation methods, media communication, the awarding ceremony and other things for the Prize with representatives from each of NUS and NTU.

NUS and NTU both agree that the PHD Prize in 2010 was a complete success, and show great interest to continually cooperate with WFF and develop this prize into long-term cooperation projects. Mr Lu expressed that he would fully consider the aspirations of further cooperation with NUS and NTU. He will hold a specific discussion and make a decision on this matter at the coming board meeting in the end of this month.
