The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University Visits WFF

On November 8 in Beijing, Mr Lu Bo, Managing Director of the World Future Foundation (WFF), received Professor Wolfgang Bielefeld, Professor William M. Plater, Professor Gail Plater, and doctoral student, Ms Lijun He, from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.

The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University is a leading academic centre dedicated to increasing the understanding of philanthropy and improving its practice through research, teaching, public service and public affairs. Founded in 1987, the Center is a part of the Indiana University School of Liberal Arts at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Mr Lu Bo described the current situation of WFF and on-going projects in Singapore and exchanged his views on philanthropy with the visitors. Mr Lu also learned about core program areas and academic achievements of the Center, and talked with them about the possibility of future cooperation on philanthropic education and philanthropic research.
