WFF Directors Visit Shanghai World Expo

On Oct. 26th, 2010, three directors of the World Future Foundation, Dr Liang Shangyong, Mr Chan Siew Wei and Mr Lu Bo, visited the Shanghai 2010 World Expo in China.

In the company of China's Broad Group, the 3 directors visited the Corporate Pavilions in the morning, and focused on the inspection of Broad Pavilion, Private Enterprises Joint Pavilion, Vanke Pavilion and SAIC-GM Pavilion. In the afternoon, the directors visited China's Joint Provincial Pavilion, Spain Pavilion, United Kingdom Pavilion, Germany Pavilion and Italy Pavilion. Throughout the day, directors learned advanced environmental concepts and technologies, and discussed how to make WFF's on-going programs more efficient and impressive.

World Expo 2010 Shanghai is the 41st World Expo. From May 1 to Oct. 31, 2010, it was held in Shanghai, China. The theme of Expo 2010 is "Better City, Better Life", representing the common wish of all humankind for a better living situation in future urban environments. The cumulative number of visitors has reached 73 million people, which becomes a record attendance for the World Expo.
